To help accelerate growth in a safe but efficient manner, we made it our mission to reduce the number of amber inconclusive compliance checks.

This year saw the launch of our international company data and monitoring functionality, allowing clients to onboard to expand their global business reach whilst maintaining compliance.

Adam is leading NorthRow’s ambitious journey to change the way compliance and financial crime risk professionals do their job using leading-edge SaaS and deep customer engagement.

The launch of our fully managed service meant we were able to provide identity verification to government best practice standards.

Before the employee starts work, all employers are legally required to perform Right to Work verification on their employees to ensure they are eligible to work in the UK. NorthRow created an easy to use app to help.

One of the UK’s leading private equity houses, Maven, led a £3.5 million Series A investment in NorthRow to support continued growth, expand product development, add commercial resources, and enter new markets.

Open Banking chose NorthRow to deliver their onboarding processes, as they set the standard for securely managing customer financial data.

NorthRow achieved the Cyber Essential Plus certification, a government-backed, industry-supported scheme to help organisations protect themselves against the increasing threat of cyber-attacks.

In a cultivating period of growth for NorthRow, we successfully delivered client onboarding solutions for Regus UK, which saw the company roll out the solution internationally to chosen countries.

NorthRow was selected for the highly competitive 12-week program that helps early to growth-stage enterprise technology companies refine and test their value proposition with the support of the world’s leading financial service firms.

NorthRow was one of the first companies in the UK to achieve certification to the new ISO27001:2013 standards. As a result, high security and guaranteed compliance come as standard.

We partnered with Regus Plc due to working with law enforcement and being a preferred supplier to the Business Centre Association; delivering a range of regulatory services to Regus started our evolution into a RegTech business.

Through seed funding, NorthRow snowballed into developing onboarding solutions for clients across multiple industries, including Fintech, Serviced Offices and the Property Sector.

Adrian Black founded NorthRow to make a difference and enable organisations to combat fraud and financial crime.
